What is GLASBORD® ?
Glasbord® is a unique development made by Crane Composites to provide highest Hygiene standards and Durability for walls and ceilings in kitchens. Thanks to the fiberglass content and to the Surfaseal® film, Glasbord® is an enhanced FRP panel suitable for areas where both Hygiene and Durability are required.
The Surfaseal® finish, found only on Glasbord, provides a barrier that is highly resistant to impact and scratching. It does not trap soil or bacteria on the panel, and these wall and ceiling panels provide upto 10x more cleanliness, 6x more stain resistance and 2x more abrasion resistance.

Glasbord® surface and structure, highly depends on Surfaseal®. It makes the surface of the material free of pores, which eliminates the dirt, germs and residues from the surface.
The Surfaseal® film is applied on the surface during the production process with a special procedure. The process yields a uniform and pore-free surface, avoiding the seepage of microorganisms. It is a unique advantage of Glasbord® as compared to other building materials.
